Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts IBPS PO exam to shortlist candidates for the post of Probationary Officer (PO)/Management Trainee in various public sector banks in India.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) provides recruitment and training services to a common standard for public sector banks (PSB).
IBPS PO 2019 examination is held in three phases – Preliminary and Main exam followed by Interview Round.

All the candidates who successfully register themselves under CWE PO/MT-IX will be called for Preliminary Examinations. Based on the performance in the preliminary examination, certain number of candidates will be shortlisted for each of these examinations. The short listed candidates will then be called for Main Examinations. There will be fewer number of questions in the Preliminary Examination with shorter duration. The marks obtained in the Preliminary examination will not be considered for preparing the final merit list and the marks obtained in the Main Examination will only be considered for short listing for Interview. 

The IBPS PO Exam is conducted every year by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.
The upcoming exam in 2019 will be called CWE PO/MT IX as it is the ninth edition of this test.

IBPS PO PARTICIPATING PUBLIC SECTOR BANKS  : This Year 17 banks Participate in the recruitment process.

An individual who aspires to join any of the above Public Sector Banks as a Probationary Officer / Management Trainee will necessarily be required to take the CWE. Prospective candidates who wish to appear for the CWE will have to apply to IBPS and should carefully read the advertisement regarding eligibility criteria, online registration process, pattern of examination, issuance of call letters and score cards.

Candidates who appear for the CWE will be able to check their status after the examination. Scorecards will be issued to candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks and above in each test of the examination.

Each participating Public Sector Bank will independently issue a separate recruitment notification, specifying their vacancies and stipulating the eligibility criteria in terms of age, educational qualification, experience (if any), minimum required level of IBPS score in each component test plus Total Weighted Score (if any) etc.

Successful candidates in the CWE who have been issued scorecards and who meet thestipulated eligibility criteria are then required to apply to any of the participating banks they wish to, quoting their personal details and their CWE scores. Each bank will then individually shortlist candidates and carry out their own selection processes such as Group Discussions and/ or Interviews etc. for final selection.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for IBPS PO (as on 01.08.2019)

Candidates intending to apply for CWE PO/MT-IX should ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria specified by IBPS .

I. Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either -
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

II. Age for IBPS PO (As on 01/08/2019)

Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 30 years
i.e. a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1989 and not later than 01.08.1999 (both dates inclusive)

III. Educational Qualifications for IBPS PO (As on 28/08/2019) :

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
All the educational qualifications mentioned should be from a University/ Institution/ Board recognised by Govt. of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies and the final result should have been declared on or before 28.08.2019.

SELECTION PROCESS For Ibps PO :
CRP–ONLINE EXAMINATIONS : 
The structure of the Examinations which will be conducted online are as follows :
I. Preliminary Examination : comprises tests on following subjects

• English Language
• Quantitative Aptitude
  
• Reasoning Ability
  

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. 

EXAMINATION CENTRES For Ibps PO : The examination will be conducted online in venues across many centres in India.
The tentative list of Examination centres for the Online Preliminary examination and those for Online Main examination is available application form.
No request for change of centre for Examination shall be entertained.

HOW TO APPLY For Ibps PO : Candidates can apply online only from 07/08/2019 to 28/08/2019 and no other mode of application will be accepted. 
Candidates are first required to go to the IBPS authorised website www.ibps.in and click on the Home Page to open the link CRP PO/MT and then click on the option CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-PROBATIONARY OFFICERS/ MANAGEMENT TRAINEES (CRP-PO/MT-IX) to open  the On-Line Application Form.
Candidates will have click on CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION to register their application by entering their basic information in the online application form.

APPLICATION FEES : Intimation Charges Payable from 07.08.2019 to 28.08.2019 (Online  payment),  both  dates inclusive, shall be as follows -
Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWBD candidates.
Rs.600/- for all others
Bank transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/intimation charges will  have to be borne by the candidate
Mode of Payment : Candidates should make the payment of requisite fees/ intimation charges through the ONLINE mode only.
The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit  Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
